Black Jack - Rules
Once all the players have made bets, the dealer will distribute one card face-up to each player and finally to himself as well. Each player then will obtain a second card, also face-up. If you tap on a free area of the table behind your cards and say "card" or "hit me", the dealer will give you additional cards until you feel you are close to 21. By saying "stop" or "stand" you inform the dealer that you do not wish to receive any more cards. If the sum of your cards exceeds 21, you have lost and your cards will be removed by the dealer.
Once the last player has stopped taking any additional cards, the dealer will then take a second card for himself. If the dealer has a total of 16 or less he must take another card, but if the total equals 17 or more, the dealer may not take another card.
If your card total is closer to 21 than the dealer's, you will win 100% of your bet.
If your hand totals less than the dealer's, you will lose your bet.
If the dealer has more than 21, you win automatically as do the other players at the table. This is called a "break" or "bust". In a "standoff" situation, which occurs when the value of the player’s hand is the same as the dealer’s, all players will keep their bets.
The values of all cards correspond to the number on the card for 2 through 10. Picture or face cards (Jacks, Queens, and Kings) are worth 10, and aces are either 1 or 11.
