Roulette - About the game
The American version of roulette is fast-paced, varied and thrilling.
The game rules are generally the same as in classic French roulette, but American Roulette is played more quickly. The playing field is a bit lower, bets are normally placed by the player and there is only one croupier (dealer).
The players must make their bets before the Croupier says, "ne ide vise" or "no more bets, please". The Croupier spins the ball in the roulette wheel and after various laps it stops in one of the slots, numbered 0 to 36, this being the winning number. The Croupier announces the winning number, those bets that have won a prize and then pays them.
The Playing Field:
Two types of chips can be used to place bets:
1) chips with a printed value called “Cash Chips” and
2) colored playing chips.
Cash chips obtained at the gaming table or at the cash desk can be used at all gaming tables in the casino. You can also buy colored playing chips directly at the gaming table. Each player will receive one color. The uniform value of the playing chips is determined by you when you purchase them. As there is no value specified on these playing chips, you may play with them only at the table where you purchased them. Once you have finished the game at that specific table, you have to exchange the playing chips with the croupier for Cash chips before you leave. Cash chips may then be exchanged for cash at the cash desk at any time. Please note that if you want to exchange your colored chips for cash after leaving the gaming table, we can only pay the minimum value of 1 Euro per chip. Before leaving the casino, please do not forget to exchange all chips for cash at the cash desk.
